JR's Plan's Unfulfilled...Gone Too Soon

Drug crime is an everyday thing in the neigborhood where JR lived. He was a young man with three kids and his wife to be. He worked as a washbay supervisor in a travel bus company. He had brought a wedding band for his bride to be. And he had planned the direction that he wanted to take him family once married. JR's first plan was to enjoy his birthday with his mom, dad and other family members. His birthday was Saturday and he had put in a request at work to switch places with another co-worker whose birthday was Wednesday. But Wednesday and Saturday plans did not come to be. JR was shot to death at a car wash Wednesday, mistaken identity. He was laid to rest on Saturday, his birthday. The person hasn't been caught. His children ages: 4, 5, and 7...

When Tears Fall

This is a blog about the many children that will live life without the luxury of having a parent in their lives. How their summers are spent, and what is being done to address how these children will face the world and find understanding to how and why a parent was lost to street crimes. Drug areas and gangs must not be where their children grow-up and gangs can't be their only hope of survival.
